What do you see when you're out in the world? |
It's not only what you see, it's how your mind interprets it. It shows a bit of your soul, a bit of how you think, a bit of what you are.
I love black and white. It tells more of a story than color. The shadows, the contrast. That's where the stories hide, in the dark. Lots of things don't like the light of day. We show our best in the light. Only in the dark do our real stories come out, where we think no one can see.
I can see.
Very few things bring out my light. This old world is full of so much pain and suffering. People rushing about on their own destines. So oblivious to the fact that every little move they make causes a ripple, one that reaches the shores eventually of another persons pond. These may go unnoticed, but sometimes they have a more profound effect than you realize. A smile, a helping hand, a kind word could change a persons day. Maybe even their life.
You never know.
I've been there. With only things to keep me company. Meaningless people making their way through meaningless lives doing meaningless things. And then I meet just the right person and it changes.
Rarely is a person ever alone, not as alone as they think. There are some wonderful people out there, that are just the right fit for you, people in your life that think a lot more of you than the ones you might surround yourself with. Your people.
